Conor Foran

Based in London, Conor is an Irish creative practitioner who stammers. He graduated from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin in 2017. He designs websites, publications, identities and other forms of communication through his creative practice, Take Courage, with his partner Bart Rzeznik. Conor previously worked as a designer in Apple and Channel 4 before deciding to create independent work in the cultural, educational and charitable spheres. He is the creator of Dysfluent magazine and he features in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Voice Studies: special issue on dysfluency 5:2 (2021), edited by Maria Stuart and Daniel Martin. Conor is interested in how visual communication can contribute to a sense of self, especially in the context of stammering.
